Here at Twink Candle Company we aim to help you with the care of your candle to allow the best results from each and every burn. Below we have some tips and tricks to help you get the best from your candles.

It is important that the very first burn of your candle is long enough for the whole surface of the candle to turn to liquid wax.

Tips & Tricks

Leave the candle lit for at least 3-4 hours for the first time to avoid “tunneling”.

Trim the wick to 1/4” (4mm) before each burn. Remove any mushroomed wick by cutting down to 1/4” (4mm). This will not only give you a cleaner burn but will also help control flame size.

Do NOT burn candles for more than 4 hours at a time, we recommend 2-3 hours after the first initial burn.

Keep candle on a flat fire resistant surface and in a well ventilated area, although not too windy as this will disturb the flame and can cause smoking.

Use a snuffer to extinguish the flame, never use the candle lid or blow out the candle as this can cause wick to fall into the melted wax.

When not in use return the lid to avoid debris entering the candle.

Keep candles out of the reach of children and pets.

Never leave candles unattended.

Keep away from flammable materials.
